Two Tunnels Run

This run starts at Rossiter Park, Kimball Street, Aitkenvale, on the 22^nd of June 2019 at 6.30am.

Long Course: - 10.4 Km

The course starts at the pontoon at Rossiter Park and follows the river path to Aplins Weir. Cross the foot bridge at Aplins Weir, turn right and follow the path to the bridge across the gully near Marabou Drive. Turn left after the bridge and follow the path to Yolanda Drive. Cross Yolanda Drive and continue on the path to go through the tunnel under University Road, turn right and follow the path along Discovery Drive to the bottom of James Cook Drive, locally known as the university ring road.  Turn right into the university ring road, right into Buchan Road and right into Parkinson Road near the swimming pool.  Before exiting the university, turn left and follow the ramp to the tunnel under Angus Smith Drive and the motorway. Follow the path onto Hallet Court and continue into Harrington Court. At the end of Harrington Court follow the path to the river and turn right onto the river path, go under Nathan Street Bridge and loop back up to cross the bridge to the Aitkenvale side. at the end of the bridge turn right onto the river path and finish at the pontoon at Rossiter Park.

Short Course:- 4.85 Km

The course starts at the pontoon at Rossiter Park and follows the river path to Nathan Street bridge.  Before going under the bridge veer right and cross the bridge. At the end of the bridge turn right and loop under the bridge and exit onto Verhoeven Drive.  Continue to the end and follow the path to the shopping centre car park and follow the path between the shops, then right onto the Riverside Boulevard footpath and then right into Regatta Crescent. Follow Regatta Crescent and turn right onto a path to the river, then turn right onto the river path, go under Nathan Street Bridge and loop back up to cross the bridge to the Aitkenvale side. at the end of the bridge turn right onto the river path and finish at the pontoon at Rossiter Park.
