The Mothers  Day Fun Run and Walk is on Sunday the 12^th of May 2024 commencing 7:00am.

On Mothers Day join with your daughters, mums, sisters, friends and colleagues for a run or walk from Rossiter Park, Aitkenvale along the picturesque banks of Ross River.  Husbands and sons are welcome as well! 

The distance is 5.2km and the event starts at 7.00am from Rossiter Park, Kimball Street, Aitkenvale.

The cost is $10 for Adults, $5 for Children 5 to 17 years and under 5 years is free.

The charity is Safe Nigts Townsville.

Course

Start at Rossiter Park and follow the path to Nathan Street. Cross Nathan St Bridge and then follow the path between the palmetum and the river. Stay on the path to Aplins Weir and cross the river over the bridge. Follow the path back to Rossiter Park. There will be a water stop at Aplins Weir.
