PLEASE BE THERE 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR DESIGNATED START TIME.

The handicaps for this event are based on the race times from the less hilly club road runs during the year.    The clock will be started at about 6.00 am and the person with zero handicap will start then.  Runners will then start according to the handicapping that they have been allotted.   Only competitors that have been given a handicapping and do not start before their allocated handicap time are eligible to win the event.  If you do not have a handicapping (not on the list) then a handicap can be estimated, but you can not then win the event.

To request a handicap, send an email to results@townsvilleroadrunners.com.au with the Subject being Handicap Required and provide your name, the distance of your best run this year and the time for that run and a handicap will be added to the list.
